Bufete Giménez Torres was established in the year 1968 by Francisco Giménez Torres, a prestigious lawyer
who, among other public offices, was Deputy Governor of the Spanish Central Bank and Chairman of the
National Institute for Industry (the former Spanish industrial state holding company). The firm has
since developed great expertise in various fields of Law, Corporate and Commercial, Procedural (Civil,
Commercial and indeed financial Criminal), Real Estate, Administrative, Tax, Labour and Industrial
Property, achieving great professional heights, and is committed to the highest standards of quality
in serving its clients, providing a prompt, personalised service.
Although the Firm’s client base largely comprises Spanish enterprises, the Firm
has from the outset been very internationally-minded to the extent that a large portion of the Firm’s
practice includes advising foreign investors. We therefore have a broad insight into and an in-depth
knowledge of international business.
This transnational mission justifies and explains Bufete Giménez Torres’ membership
of Multilaw, a multinational association of independent law firms of which our firm is a founder member, which
is actively present in over sixty countries (indeed it is among the world’s four largest alliances) and
guarantees an all-round service in almost any commercial centre on the five continents, with particular
presence in Europe, North America, Latin America and the Pacific Area.
Our lawyers are all proficient in Spanish and English, and we are also able
to serve our clients in French, German and Italian.
Our headquarters are in Madrid and we also have offices in Marbella, Alicante
(specialising in Intellectual Property), where our firm is a member of López, Giménez Torres & Partners,
and also in Barcelona, at our offices with Yúfera & Giménez Torres Abogados. We also rely on an extensive
network of correspondents in Spain’s main economic and financial centres allowing us to serve our
clients locally.
